Well I can't tell you what YOU should do, but I can tell you what I
(another endurance newbie) did  and that is find another horse.

Fortuntely my crazy mare came home on a 30 day trial allowed by a very
generous owner.

I kept shopping, found a quiet-eyed sensible gelding and have done two sloe
LD's since I got him in May.

There are plenty of scarey things out there in the woods, even for quiet
horses.  Unless you are having lots of fun .......
