[RC] netted roundbales??????? - Jonni Jewell

I have only fed a few of the round bales we baled from our pasture. They are
also done with the net. I don't HAVE a ring, so I had to be even more
creative. I kind of peeled the netting down like one would roll a sock down.
I checked it daily, and made sure they were not getting into it, or it was
fraying apart. And I did take a cotton rope, and tie it around the whole
darn thing, and do a truckers knot, to get it really tight, and tightened it
every day. They never got into the rope, the bale stayed kind of together,
and it worked well enough. I know there are many different types of hay
rings for the bales. Is there one that would fit the bales better, so you
could just remove the netting???
