Well it's pretty to thing a cell phone would prompt them either -
unless you trained them through some sort of Pavlovian response to take
off like bat out of hell when the phone rang - in which case the rider
would probalby be startled and fall off ;-)!

"prompting" to "promoting" does indeed raise some interesting mental
