DRG1,

I have a Sommer Oakfield (Evolution Western model) saddle and absolutely love
it! My Arabian has a wide short back and this is the only saddle out of
hundreds that I tried that would fit him. It has an adjustable tree, with 3
settings (narrow, med, wide), a narrow twist, well-padded seat, and feels very
secure. It is very well made and of high quality (made in Germany). They
retail in my area (Sac, CA) for about $1800. Not cheap, but reasonable for a
well-made saddle. The website is www.sattelmacher.com.

Hope this helps!

Liz
