A John: Your a brave soul. A issue that has not been brought to lite is that
if you win the Tevis, the UAE will provide for a all expense paid trip for
you, your crew and horse, in this case Horses and crews I presume.

Assuming this is not a award, it certainly is a large incentive for someone
to strive to be the winner of Tevis and possibly sell you winning steed for
many dollars to boot.

Of course this would not enter into any one's mind during the training or
the race "ooop's" I mean RIDE.

It certainly goes against what AERC say's about prices if I recall
correctly, but it seems to me to be a big bucks incentive to enter and win.

Of course Tevis is Tevis and things will not change, I just thought these
facts should be know as they were widely discussed through out the ride.

Yes, I declined the packets that were handed out.
