I'm thinking that "bad" behavior that is occurring because your horse is temporarily confined might be treated different than if the same sort of actions were happening during normal times, when your horse is always turned out.


Again, it would be like punishing a child who is confined to bed for bad behavior due to that confinement. How many future problems might be started by such a thing?

Now is a great time to be engaging in some of the early Parelli stuff, or in clicker training, which wouldn't require your horse even leaving the stall, but which would engage his mind. This sort of training/work would not only entertain, but it would also address the roots of the invasion of space issue.
