But did you follow directions after the hys?  I'm considering getting spayed myself but can't find the right time to do it.  Dr. says I can do it whenever I'm ready but there's always something on the agenda that usually includes riding somewhere...

That's funny Alison as I did a 50 mile ride one time after having my gall bladder out 3 weeks before :-) By about the 30 mile mark I was using one arm to try and hold my insides from bouncing around ! Probably not the smartest thing I have ever done . I later told my Dr. what I had done and boy did I get a lecture ! A few years later when I had a hysterectomy he made me promise that I would not get on a horse until he said it was ok , no trust there at all :-)
