[RC] Riding 100's -- & now Juniors - DreamWeaver

Becke in MI who will do 100 next year with 3 juniors.

Yayyy Becke! Speaking of Juniors and 100's......we've been working on the new unofficial 100 Mile Award for the kids, and this is what we've come up with (pass it on!)

1) Any AERC Junior Rider who completes a one day 100 will get something (that something is a surprise, for now). In order for them to get it they just have to email us ( nvrider @ charter.net ) or Maryben ( merryben @ aol.com ) that they intend to try for this award, and then let us know when they have finished their first 100.

2) Upon completion of their second one day 100 on the same horse within a calendar year period of completing the first one, they will receive an embroidered polarfleece blanket. They will even have their choice of color, and we'll send it to them ASAP!

To meet the qualifications for the award -- the first 100 needs to be completed in the current 2004 (or later) ride year. The calendar year period for the 2nd one starts on the date that the first one was completed. Any Junior AERC member that is 16 as of December 1st of the ride year qualifies, whether or not they ride the 100's sponsored or unsponsored.

I think that covers everything. Thank you to all of the private sponsors for your support! :-)

Karen
