Cindy - Ridecamp is definitely not representative of what you'll find at
the actual rides in this country.  If it was, I don't think there would
be very many of us staying with the sport!  The people you will meet at
rides (yes, even the ones that post here <g>) will be wonderful and
friendly - a trait that I think encompasses endurance riders as a whole,
regardless of region or country. :o)

Well, actually, ridecamp DOES have some resemblance to what we find at the
rides--strong personalities, yes, but all will bend over backward to help
you and advise you and loan you stuff out on the trail, just as they do
here.  And both places you will find "you-can-do-its" when you ponder the
challenge and "attaboys" when you succeed.
