Interesting...coming a full circle, because when the then-manager of Castle
Rock 50 first offered shorter rides in the early 1970s, he called them
mini-rides.

How about we call Limited Distance rides Mini-Endurance rides? Like
Mini-Marathons.

Then, when I did Mini-Endurance rides, I could call myself a

Mini-Endurance

rider. Except in my case, people would probably think I was making a

comment on

my own size (I don't measure up to 5' tall).
