Re: [RC] Women who ride stallions - Susan Young

Along these lines, some humans CAN pick out certain harmonal changes in a woman.  In the Cherokee pow wows, a woman can't enter the inner circle to dance if she's on her period.  The elder women KNOW.  So, why can't a stallion know?

My silly gelding acts all goofy when I ride or when a friend rides; but, but friend's child on his back, and he's all business and careful.  They aren't stupid; I just don't know how much they sense.
