[RC] Saddle stuff... - Suzi Maiorisi

I'm in the saddle market for my gaited Morgan mare.  She has decent withers, good back, little wide in the shoulders and 'normal' (ie standard western trees) don't do the trick.  I currently ride an Aussie/Western cross that is incredibly comfortable for me, but unless she's getting on the lighter side of her weight, it really doesn't fit her all that well - she's got about 20 white hairs on her right wither/shoulder area since shedding out this spring.  Any suggestions on what might work.  I'm looking at Steele saddles and really like their designs and tree concept, but wondering if treeless is too 'loose' for comfort on a mare that has her moments in the skittish department?
Thanks so much in advance,
Suzi and Wantsanewsaddle Holly
