As irritating as it is, I would much rather have my horse pee in the trailer than hold it 'til he gets home. I think it's just healthier. I used to work as a police dispatcher in a small police department, and some weekends there'd be no one to give me a break, and BELIEVE me, it was no fun "holding it" for hours and hours. I bed fairly deep in shavings, and clean it out, pull my mats, hose the spot off and let it dry. My horse will pee on a 20 minute trip. He usually prefers to pee when we stop for gas, so it can run out from under the trailer so as tocause the greatest embarassment to his long-suffering owner.
