Re: [RC] Boa Horse Boot - Karen

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Certainly Easyboots can take some finesse with certain horses. Most often, the riders have not cut the back of the boots down low enough and the horse steps them off. Or, they do not fit snugly enough. It takes some trial and error to work thru getting four boots to stay on each horse. If you come out to the convention I can show you how to keep them on, and how to prepare them so they stay on. More and more people are figuring out how to keep easyboots on their horses. I saw several dozen horses wearing them at Death Valley.

If you were able to keep a boot on for 55 miles, then my guess the reason it came off was more in the application rather than the horse not being able to adapt to them.

Here are more detailed instructions, which may help somebody out there.....
