Re: [RC] Boa Horse Boot - Barbara McCrary

Title: RE: [RC] Boa Horse Boot
Thanks for the info.  One of the reasons for my current interest in boots, Easyboots or Boaboots, is a particular horse we have that over-reaches and snatches off front shoes, often within the first 1/2 mile of a ride.  I'm considering Ground Control shoes on the advice of a farrier on ridecamp.  But if all else fails, Easyboots over iron shoes may be my only choice.  Frustrating problem.  It would be great if we didn't have to shoe this horse at all in front, but until Easyboots stay on better or Boaboots can be used for endurance, we have few choices left.  The horse has a very short strong back and long legs, and he reaches well forward at a trot.

Barbara- I just answered a similar e-mail for Terry Banister.  Here is my reply to Terry that addresses many of the same issues.
