Cool Off is a chamois like material that holds a lot of water and stays cool for a long time. I use the bandana and the strips for the mane. There are also vests for people and a cooler for the top of the horse's head. Jazon Wonders always wears the vest. I don't really like wearing one. But I do love the bandana.
Once she made a horse cooler but that was a story in itself. Julie Suhr and I were to try it on Julie's horse at Castlerock. Julie hands the thing to me and I go DOWN to the creek and soak it. Well, full of water, it weighed about 150 lbs. I staggered UP the hill to the vet area and it was so heavy, we could not get it on the horse. End of that experiment......mb
