Jim
I am a Georgia Equistrian and would like information on trail use in the
National Forest. I only read Ridecamp in the archives and don't have your
email. Please forward info to (kswayenp@xxxxxxx)

Riding alone is when you teach a horse all the "tools" and "cues" he needs
to handle the trail, to hold a speed, deal with hills, etc. It's also
where
you develop the "bond" that causes him to "defer" to you before losing his
cool.

I don't think you have to join a gym or buy frilly outfits to get some
fitness. A decent set of shoes and a 15 minute dismount here and there
will help.
