But WOLVES WERE NEVER AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE LANDSCAPE!! They are NOT
natural here--they were foisted on us by the Federal government!
,,,,,,,,,,,,
The wolves have been ARTIFICIALLY introduced into a system that normally
supports many ungulates (elk, deer, bighorn sheep, antelope--AND domestic
ones such as cattle) so there is a seemingly limitless food supply.

*Not meaning to be argumentative.......and I am sure these Canadian Wolves
are a different thing entirely
but........weren't some of the plains states that were home to those
ungulates (elk, deer, bighorn sheep, antelope
and buffalo), once also home to the now-extinct Buffalo Wolf?

We are talking about all the tools we can use to keep our horses safe and
alive at the rides. Training/conditioning is one of the best tools
available. It makes us better horseman and women, it benefits our horses
and could quite possibly be the key to preventing most crashes.
