And I believe that 3 day eventing ( of which cross country is one day ) is on the IOC chopping block to eliminate from the Olympics because: a) it is to expensive for the host to build and secure the course and
b) it has little spectator appeal ( in numbers ).


When 15,000 people file in to watch a basketball game day after day - that's what they are looking for. The Olympics of today are not the Olympics the Greeks envisioned or even the Olympics of 1980. They are there to make money.
