Personally I think there comes a point where you need to look at
something besides pulses.  I've had horses with magnificent recoveries
who had problems with gut sounds. I've said it before...but I rode with a
horse who tied up so bad he couldn't lift a hind leg but his pulse was
32.

That's been the point of several of my posts, Angie.  We've looked at pulses
about as far as we can look.  I think we're "there" with about as much as
they can offer, other than taking a look at exit pulses.  We need to stick
to our guns on pulses, because they show us a lot.  But we need to now start
digging into the other tools in our bag to address those problems that
remain.
