You remember that Longstreets a few years ago in early June where it was 
hot as the blue blazes. Do you remember how long it was taking to 
recover?  At a ride in 2001 in March in FL it was 95 degrees and I was 
the head pulse man.  To make matters worse horses still had some of 
their winter coat. 15 minutes recovery was not unusual. They did treat 
one horse on that ride - one that took 27 minutes to recover at the end 
of the LD.
