[RC] HIGH PROFILE RIDES - SPOOK RUN - NO TREATED HORSES - Peggy Burgess

THIS RIDE SEEMS PRETTY HIGH PROFILE TO ME - AND THERE WAS MONEY TO BE WON.  AS I RECALL THE TERRAIN IS ALSO VERY CHALLENGING FOR A 100 MILE EVENT.  WHAT ARE THE VARIABLES (COOL/COLD WEATHER, EXPERIENCE LEVEL, VETS, MORE EXPERIENCED/BETTER CONDITIONED HORSES, SHORTER TRAILER DISTANCE, OTHER IDEAS????).  IS THERE AN OPTIMUM TIME OF YEAR TO STAGE SUCH EVENTS?   WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM THIS?

"This ride went really well, no horses needed treatment
Hopefully the 50 and 25 mile on Saturday will go as smooth. There are 59 horses entered in the 50 and 39 horses in the 25 mile. Rain is in the forcast. I will not be able to post the ride, hopefully someone else will."
