Re: [RC] Angie's articles - Typef

As usual, I didn't get the original post to this thread but it doesn't
matter. I just got my Endurance News today and Angie, I second the motion of
a book. I stopped at McDonald's while out running errands today and of
course, my selection of something to read while I was eating my salad, from
the stack of things I picked up at the post office, could only be Endurance
News, because as we all know, it's the most important piece of mail we get!
Usually I can speed through a meal in no time flat, but I was so engrossed
in Angie's description of the look on people's faces that is exactly like
all the people I know, I couldn't help but just read and not eat! I do have
one exception to the events as described in Angie's accounting ... my dad is
an ex-endurance rider and thus will listen to my stories. However, my
excited recountings of a weekend of time spent in endurance company are
usually followed with, "So how come you're not doing 50's yet??"

Unfortunately, I have not read the HRM or sponging articles. If they were in
the last year, I can dig them up, if not, where can I find them? Would LOVE
to read them!!!

:) Jackie

Add me to the list of people who would buy a book comprised of Angie's
magazine articles. My personal favorite is the one about the HRM. A close
second is the one about sponging. (When you do this book, Angie, do a
transcript of your AERC talk as well -- with the slides of course.)

Just got done reading her contribution to the Sept. AERC and, wow, I had
no
idea that what she described is so universal, even for a baby endurance
person like me. Put my family, friends and acquaintances down for "STOP
DOING THAT!"

PS - Because of political correctness and because some people get their
panties wadded, I shortened the quote above to not include the part about
rubbing noses in it. OOPS! Too late now!
