[RC] New Power Strokes - JOLYNN MAYNARD

Another truck question. I now have a 99 Power Stroke with the 7.3 liter
diesel engine(automatic) and I test drove a 2003 Power Stroke with the 6.0
liter diesel with the new 5 speed Auto and it did not seem any different
but did not have trailer of course. I have a hard time believing that the
smaller engine is more powerful but know that the 5 speed auto tranny
would be better. I would like to hear from those that have driven and
pulled with both or how the new ones are doing? Also what rear end ratio
do you prefer. My husband is thinking maybe we should go lower geared
because we pulled a LQ, 8', 3hsl Sundowner that is "heavy" but I am
worried about losing fuel economy. What do you other endurance riders
think?
