Austrailian Endurance saddles!!! There are a fews. Syd hill makes a nice one. One of the advertisers in the classifieds sells them .I have one . It has wide flat panels ,got a wither tracing to fit my wide boy.It's panels are shorter than most aussie saddles.?Sort of an english /aussie hybrid. Has stirrup bars like an english saddle,and billets that use an english girth(I use a dressage girth.)They don't have those stuffed narrow panels other aussies have.It is also shorter front to back.Mine measures 22.5 inches.And it is a 19". Comparable to a western 16 or english 17.I am not that big. 5.'6 145.(all muscle of course :} Laurie /Rascal the barrel/Honey/Scout

....yeah, I used to see a few Aussie saddles back when...seemed to fit the
rider very well, but the horse, (a horse being "campaigned" in fifty's or
hundred's), seem to develop problems because of them.
    Hmmm, I wonder what Australian endurance riders ride in???:^)
