[RC] [Guest] Aussie Saddles - Ridecamp Guest

Dona Hunter huntersrunfarm@xxxxxxx

We have used Aussie Saddles for several years. As with any saddle, there is
a big difference in the quality of saddles between the makers and you must
make sure that the saddle fits. We use a JS Champion that is fleece lined.
It fits all three of our horses (TWH). All of them are very wide at the
withers and very short backed and hard to fit. The gelding has no withers
to speak of and this saddle fits him very well. My husband uses this saddle
when he does his once a year ride. He loves it. It is a very comfortable
saddle and he feels secure.

The saddle was bought from the Australian Stock Saddle company and it is my
understanding that the tree is adjustable. It also came in different sizes.
We purchased the wide width. I was told that with the wide backed horses,
the fleece backed saddle worked better, it also distributes the weight of
the rider better.

Professional Choice puts out a good quality neoprene girth that fits the
Australian Saddle. It's made specifically for Australian saddles. You have
to contact the company direct to purchase it.
