[RC] [Guest] HRM problems - Ridecamp Guest

Peggy Bergman-Smith [mailto:peglets@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx]

I have had the same problem with my HRM and it's a Polar.
My horse would be standing still and it would be reading 220.
I found that it seems to depend on where I put the + electrode. I put mine
up in the shoulder area under my breast collar, but I have to be careful and
put it up close to the withers so it stays in contact with my horse.
It seems to "lose it" when it's not in good contact.
It still occasionally goes wierd on me and gives me a unnaturally high
reading.
I wonder if anyone else has the same problem.
