Re: [RC] Shadowfax & computer graphics help for riding - Heidi SmithHis hand went around the neck, his feet went up and somehow he was in the saddle. My stepdaughter was still mounting that way when she was seven months pregnant! I'm a bit too firmly rooted to terra firma, so I never could learn to vault onto the saddle (if I played basketball I'd be hopeless at a dunk shot too <g>) but there are lots of limber, bouncy people who learn to get on their horses bareback by just swinging up. My sis used to be one of those, tiny as she was--she'd just be standing at the horse's shoulder, and then just leap astride, bareback. I never could do that (ditto about the dunk shot, too), even when I was young and skinny--maybe my body just instinctively knew it was destined to become a Weeble, so not to bother with such things.
