OK, for all those who don't like the way Howard
is going about things, instead of disparaging him and those

congratulate him, how about desribing, in detail, what YOU
think is a safe, sound training progam?  How many miles of
LDs,
with what sort of recovery rates, should a horse have before
advancing from LDs to longer distances?  What pace should a
new
horse be started at, and how do you determine when to
advance?
How is that 'solid base' obtained?  What has worked for you?
