Re: [RC] Loose dogs - Maryanne Stroud Gabbani

It's worth noting that feral dogs and farm dogs here have extremely short life spans... and not just because they don't get fed well or vaccinated. Way too many are hit by cars or run up too close to a grumpy cart horse or water buffalo or go after the wrong farmer's chickens.

And an additional word to those who think their dogs LIKE to run loose and have a RIGHT to romp in public places - no they DON'T and no they DON'T. Getting hit by a car or decked by a horse is probably not on any dog's top ten list of adventures. And regardless of what an owner THINKS their dog LIKES - the law is clear - keep your dog in a leash when in public places. I hate to hear stories like this.
