Re: [RC] [RC] meat eating horses - Shelley Kerr

Is there a difference in protein, vitamins, minerals just because of where it comes from?  Alfalfa has protein, calcium, etc.  So what is the difference?

I think I read the same article.  It's in the current issue of The Horse magazine.  Based on what they described, the fish are frozen in a lumb and the horses eat them.  The mentioned there is nothing like seeing a horse with the tail of a fish sticking out of its mouth and watching it disappear.

The current article won't be available for a month or so, but a previous article came out in October.  Someone else gave the article number in an earlier message.  Look up Carnivorous and you should find it.
