I have been expecting some on RC to mention that Akal Tekes were fed a diet of mutton in Russia. I remember reading this fact once when reading about the breed but cannot say more. Anyone know?
I guess you feed what you have and you eat what you can get....

i read an article about the icelandic horses, said they are fed fish in the winter, because there isnt much else to eat.  dont know how it is prepared, maybe ground into some kind of meal.  interesting.   disgusting?  its all relative.   how many of you ridecampers eat eggs?  don't you know they come out of a  chicken's @$$?    ed
