Oh my goodness, with all the Southerners on this list and no one has answered it right yet:-). Angie you should be ashamed of yourself for missing this one. The answer is obvious, you want a good hound dog. Preferably a Coon Hound (Blue Tick or Black and Tan) will do nicely. The other option for those that want a larger critter is a Blood Hound. Great dog with people, but will raise hell if something is amiss around the farm.
