Why does it have to benefit AERC? It benefits us enormously. The only chance I ever get to ride "with" any of my friends on Ridecamp is a VV ride...or if someone is taking a trip to Egypt, which oddly enough has happened quite a few times. I tried joining AERC many years ago and found that I still couldn't get Endurance News, which was the only benefit to me from joining, so I gave up on that. Besides, I was the only member of the Middle East group...now I guess there'd be Maggie Mieske and me so we'd have two.? LOL

This was one of the reasons I started the VVRides. I don't like to get
in the trailer and drive 8 hours to a ride. Going to a multi-day makes
it easier, as you still have to drive 8 hours, but at least you get to
ride more than one day b/f you have to drive back....
