RE: [RC] Very Virtual Endurance - John Teeter - Kitley, Carrie E Civ USAF AFSPC 30 MDSS/SGSLFOriginally, I was under the impression that this VV "program" was under the umbrella of the AERC and I was thinking that it would take riders away from actual AERC rides. Apparently, the numbers of participating riders are falling as it is and I've heard RM's express concern about this. I don't think VV would help in that respect but I do understand where you're coming from as well. ~C From: Maryanne Gabbani Subject: Re: [RC] Very Virtual Endurance - John Teeter Why does it have to benefit AERC? It benefits us enormously. The only chance I ever get to ride "with" any of my friends on Ridecamp is a VV ride...or if someone is taking a trip to Egypt, which oddly enough has happened quite a few times. I tried joining AERC many years ago and found that I still couldn't get Endurance News, which was the only benefit to me from joining, so I gave up on that. Besides, I was the only member of the Middle East group...now I guess there'd be Maggie Mieske and me so we'd have two.
