If the beet pulp has molasses added and you want to get rid of it, just soak it for about 10 minutes, then drain the water off, resoak. You can do that multiple times til the water runs clear.. I don't worry about the molasses myself, my horses tend to dump their feed pans and the water runs off into the ground anyway.. (thank goodness we aren't feeding in any sand.. they end up eating off the ground <sigh>)
