"That ain't nothin'," as a friend of mine would say :)  It was -18 at my house on Monday.  Now, there's a chinook wind screaming in from the west and it's finally warmed up to the low teens!  Like Oreana, we have only a skiff of snow on the ground, so we don't have to deal with the drifts that the folks in the midwest and east have.  My horses didn't seem too cold, either.  They are much colder in the fall and late spring when they have less coat and get hit with wet rains and snows that soak them to the bone.
