I commented on this this morning and it never came up so I"m going to try again.


I find a bit strange that no reactions are coming from the other side of the 
ocean. 


I think as far as our reaction to FEI allowing bute is concerned it's like if 
you already knew your sister was a prostitute, then somebody broke the new to 
you that she smokes cigarettes. Not much of a surprise.


I heard that the proposal came from the US? 


Of course. Doesn't the world blame us for everything?  Honestly, I can't 
imagine any huge change of policy like this that wasn't endorsed and pushed by 
the money bags who are paying all the bills.

I think the lack of response is more a matter of us not caring about FEI than 
of us not caring about the use of bute.  If somebody suggested AERC legalize it 
that's when it would hit the fan. FEI has already crossed over to the dark side.
