Hi Leo! This was a total surprise to me - the vote to approve was the first time I'd even heard of the proposal. I almost thought it was a joke when I saw the first press release.  
I just published a few articles on the subject. I seriously doubt it came from the USA!

I heard that the proposal came from the US? Any comments? Was the US fedaration supporting this request? And if this is true, how can a federation propose such a big change without first getting input from the riders?

I know that our federation are governed by showjumping lobbies but am I so naive?
