RE: [RC] Roger Barrett - paul

I just talked with Rogers friend Eva DePaulis.

Roger was diagnosed with Melanoma Cancer early this spring. Shortly after
managing the Race The Trace Ride in May, he went for an MRI. The cancer was
widespread throughout his body, and they were unable to treat it. He has
outlived their original estimate, which will not surprise those who know how
determined a person he is.

However, his time is ending now. He is not in pain, and comfortable at home.
Eva and He wish to thank everybody for their comfort and sympathy. He is at a
point now where he prefers not to have visitors or telephone calls, but
appreciates that many people are praying and thinking about him.

This is yet one more reminder that we never know how much time we have on this
Earth.

Carpe Diem

Paul
