 Well, there you might have reason for a protest. All riders are 
supposed to yield trail when it is asked for and safe. All sorts of 
permutations exist,
but my point was that any "headstart" at the starting line would be 
negligible. Particularly since most of the racers are leaving in the 
first pen anyway.
