[RC] Tevis Travel: delays on I-80 between NV and Truckee - Lucy Chaplin Trumbull

For those of you travelling to Robie from NV, please note the
following Caltrans alert:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Interstate 80 Subject to Long Delays during Hot August
Truckee ? Caltrans is alerting major delays are expected on Interstate 80 (I-80) due to lane and width restrictions Truckee and the Nevada State Line during the Hot August Nights event. Delays of 90 minutes can be expected. Due to the ongoing construction, only three of lanes are available and lanes are narrowed to 11 feet.
The lane restrictions are a follows:
10 a.m. Thursday, July 30 through 6 a.m., Sunday, August 2 and
10 a.m. Thursday, August 5 through 6 a.m. Sunday, August 9:
Westbound ? 1 lane
Eastbound ? 2 lanes
6 a.m. Sunday, August 2 through 10 p.m. Monday, August 3 and
10 a.m. Sunday, August 9 through 10 p.m. Monday, August 10:
Westbound ? 2 lanes
Eastbound ? 1 lane

? On westbound Interstate 80 from Secret Town Road to Colfax: Motorists can expect the following:
Wednesday, July 29: from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.: westbound #1 closed
Thursday, July 30: from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.: westbound #1 closed
Friday, July 31: no traffic interfering work scheduled
Saturday, August 1: no traffic interfering work scheduled
? On eastbound Interstate 80 from Colfax to Secret Town Road: Motorist can expect the following:
Thursday, July 30: from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.: a full eastbound closure
Friday, July 31: no traffic interfering work scheduled
Saturday, August 1: no traffic interfering work scheduled
