[RC] What is in you saddle bags..and NOT - sherman

Title: Message
Just remember NOT to have all the "important stuff" on the horse as you may need it if you get separated. I keep the iodine tablets in my waist pack, along with the chapstick, ibuprofen or naproxen, cell phone, ID, EmergenC, a small knife and keys. I think I'll add a whistle and one of those tiny but bright flashlights and something highly reflective for signalling.

What I've had to borrow because I didn't have it...an easyboot to protect my horse's frog after a nail puncture, The nail was sticking out in a way that Shadow could not set her hoof down until I pulled it out. It bled nicely, then we booted her to get her back home. She wasn't even lame on it with the boot for protection. Of course later she did get an abcess and shed nearly her entire frog. I was never so happy that someone in the group had an easyboot as that day.
