[RC] Boz Saddles - k s swigart

If anyone out there?owns or has ridden in a Boz saddle
?I?would love to get some feedback (both good and bad) on them.

I have ridden in one on several occasions; I have never owned one (and
wouldn't).? They were (two different ones on two different horses), probably
the MOST uncomfortable saddles I have EVER ridden in.? When I mentioned this to
somebody who I rode some of the Outlaw Trail with (years ago) and asked her how
it was for her, she mentioned that it was also extremely uncomfortable for her
but stated (in a rather self-righteous way, if you ask me) that discomfort for
the rider didn't matter since it is the perfect saddle for every horse,
including hers, and that I should, like her, care more about my horse's comfort
than my own.? Which is what she had been told by Boz himself, when she went to
his clinic.

At that time, I totally discounted the saddle and its maker.

As I said, this was years ago (1995 I think).? The saddles and their maker may
have changed since then.? I have never bothered to find out.

p.s.? I don't believe there is any such thing as a tree that fits every horse.
