Her recovery is phenomenal! As a medical practitioner I was initially quite pessimistic of her eventual recovery even from coma given the lenght of 'unconciousness'.Our brains and spinal cords are specialised tissues like 'jelly' and do not kindly to shocks.
All of us are indeed prone to these kind of freak accidents and must exercise great care[ helmets etc etc etc all the time].
