[RC] sponge leash - Sharon Hahn

Many good ideas here!  What no one has mentioned is that it isn't really necessary to clip the sponge to your saddle at all.  There are several types of small cordura bags that can be attached to the saddle (similar to an Easyboot bag, but open at the top or with just one small velcro tab or something, so that the sponge and sponge leash can be easily placed in it after use and then easily pulled out one-handed when needed.)  The wide mouth opening is key - you wouldn't want to fuss with a standard pommel bag that zips closed or anything like that, unless your trail only has one puddle to sponge out of!
