[RC] BCAA Legal? - Roger Rittenhouse

Way back under old drug rule 13, there was an interpretation BCAA were in
violation.

It IS a natural substance given in abnormally high amounts .. to improve the
performance of the horse...

Of course it does not test...

I use to give it until I believed it was not legal.

I suggest IF you choose to use this 'performance enhancing' substance that you
pre mix it with the elytes or put it in a 'plain white tube' 'someone' might
call you on it..

I asked this question a few times with no response.

Oh, YES it does work both for me and my horse

A substance called DMG falls under this also.. suppose to not work but its
illegal.. and yes it does work for me that is. When I use to run many miles in a
ride, I used DMG and BCAA all the time. Since I obtained remarkable results , I
assume the horse did ( or would) also :)

It manages lactates (sp ?) as in lactic acid by action as an O2 donor in the
muscles vs transport back to the liver for processing.
It helps to prevent tieup, cramps etc. Which is the effect of BCAA.

Just asking :)
