[RC] Biting horse - Brenda Kossowan

My apologies if someone has already offered this suggestion. What has always worked for me with known biters (and foals, who will bite until corrected) is to carry a sharp nail between your fingers and let them have a poke whenever they bite. Some use a hoof nail, but I would think that would be a little too sharp. I like about a four-inch spike. They can't really see it, but they sure learn the consequences of biting and nipping.
