RE: [RC] ground controll shoes - fhall

Do you find you have to do anything special to keep them on that you do not
have to do to "regular" steel shoes? Are you able to reset them after 6
weeks of hard riding?

I've used these shoes on the front for about 4 seasons now and LOVE them!
Have had no rock issues at all, I ride on gravel roads mostly. Have only
lost one shoe (at a ride) but had a spare in my cantle bag and was pushing
the amt. of time between shoeings!  I usually go 6 weeks with hard riding.

Has anyone
who has ever used the ground control
shoes ever had a problem with small rocks or gravel getting
up under the shoe?
I have a mare that I am doing currently doing LD?s
with and she is doing
beautifully. She is fixing to get her first set of these
shoes and my only
concern is this possibility. Has anyone ever had this
problem with these shoes?
