Pat Reilly (farrier at New Bolton Center at U of Penn) has done
a long term study on the effects of glue. He uses a lot of glued on shoe
applications where the glue is applied to most if not all of the hoof
wall. You might contact him. I can’t remember the outcome of the
study.
